NO ADMISSION FEE!\nOver 46 local vendors to satisfy your savvy shopping needs!\nBring cash!\n*This event takes place the 4th Saturday of April and September\, and one Saturday date in October.* \nVENDOR INFORMATION\n\nSEPTEMBER Vendor Registration FULL\, Click HERE for waitlist \nOCTOBER Registration available August 5th! \n$20 per registration\, limit of one registration per household. Registered vendors may arrive at 6:30-7:30 am. Vendors will not be permitted after 8:00 am as all vendors should be in their designated space at that time. The booth spaces are reserved with the intent that your vehicle would occupy one of the two parking spaces allocated\, with the second parking space for additional items. Both your vehicle and merchandise must fit within the boundary of your space (2 standard parking spaces). Oversized vehicles\, trailers\, etc. are not permitted. For pedestrian safety\, once your vehicle is in your designated space\, it must remain there through the duration of the event. Vendors will be placed upon arrival that morning. Any items not sold must be taken with you. Dumpsters on site are for customer and staff use only. \n*IMPORTANT: inclement weather will cancel event. And we will try our best to reschedule at a later date.\nSwap meet type items are permitted.\n\n Lucky Dog Coffee will be on site for guests to purchase delicious coffee and tea drinks and pastries. \nQuestions? SUMMARY:Adam's Forge: Discovery: Letter Opener
DESCRIPTION:Suggested skill level: Beginner and up \nNot just a useful tool\, but also the first step to all of your bladesmithing dreams\, our Letter Opener is a Discovery workshop as well as a prerequisite for all of our blade workshops. \nThe Letter Opener workshop is perfect as either an introductory or a follow-up course\, as it introduces techniques that are useful in a wide range of blacksmithing projects. You’ll learn how to work with slightly larger stock\, and be introduced to the proper choice and use of tongs to hold the hot steel. You’ll use the vise and a twisting wrench for the handle\, and practice tapering and turning scrolls as well.  In forging the blade\, you’ll learn about full-face and half-face hammer blows.  Finally\, you can apply a hot wax finish to protect your letter opener. Don’t be afraid if that sounds like a lot; we’ll be there every step of the way to make sure you master all the skills you need.
