DESCRIPTION:A public skating session is a leisure skating session for skaters of all ages and abilities. It is common to see skaters of all ages and abilities on the ice during public skating sessions.  Figure skaters are able to get in some practice during public skating sessions. Beginners\, recreational skaters\, and hockey players skate on sessions that are open to the general public. \nPublic Session skaters may wear protective helmets\, such as hockey or bicycle helmets. Also\, gloves (hockey or regular) may be worn to keep hands warm and protected on public sessions. NO other hockey gear is permitted on public sessions. Skaters will be asked to remove all other hockey gear prior to returning to the ice. There are no exceptions and no refunds will be given for this rule. Sixteen of the top high school speech and debate students from across the country will compete for their share of $50\,000 in scholarship money as well as the right to be named “The Next Great Communicator.” Audience members don’t just get to watch the debate\, they have an opportunity to cast a ballot for the national champion. Who best embodies the Ronald Reagan spirit of powerful communication\, passion\, wit\, and wisdom? \nFull Event Access Tickets include admission to the museum\, event\, and buffet dinner. Early bird tickets are available until June 17. Partial Event Access Tickets are free and include admission to the museum and access to the event only (dinner not included). Event Tickets do not include admission to any special exhibits.
