DESCRIPTION:Simi Valley Toastmasters provides a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills\, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. \n  \n  \nVisiting for the First Time? \nVisiting a club is an exciting first step in reaching your goals. There’s no need to feel pressure to participate at your first club meeting – you can simply observe if you wish. And since every club is unique\, it’s OK to visit several clubs before you decide to join the right club for you. Have a great first meeting! \nHow Do I Join? \nJoining is as easy as 1-2-3! \nStep 1: \nVisit the Toastmasters club \n\nYou may wish to visit more than once.  Visits are free and you may return as often as you like.\nIt’s a good idea to call or email in advance to confirm a group’s meeting time and location.\n\nStep 2: \nAt the meeting\, ask the President or the vice president membership for a membership application and fill it out.   New membership application can be found under the New Membership Application or on the Free downloads tabs. \nStep 3: \n\nGive your application and dues to the President or to the vice president membership at the club.\nOnce you are voted in by the existing membership\, the club officer will send your application and fees to Toastmasters’ World Headquarters.\nYour New Member Kit should arrive in the mail in about two weeks (kits outside of the U.S. may take longer).\n\nIt’s as easy as that! \nCome and see what Simi Valley Toastmasters is up to in the next few months! \nMeets every Thursday\, 7:15pm
