DESCRIPTION:The Kiwanis Club of Simi Valley has joined with the City of Simi Valley and the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District to bring this exciting event to Simi Valley. \nWe are proud to be a part of this exciting event featuring fireworks and entertainment for the entire family. \nThe gates to the Star-Spangled Rock ‘N Country Jam will open at 3:00  PM with non-stop entertainment\, food\, and FREE Fun for kids. \nBring your family and friends\, and don’t forget your lawn chairs and blankets. \nStage Lineup: \n\n\n3:15PM: Silver Lining \n\n\n5PM: FamDamly \n\n\n7PM: Forever Rod (Rod Stewart tribute) \n\n\nAdmission is FREE or you can opt for the VIP Experience for an extra special afternoon and evening that includes delicious BBQ\, drinks\, shaded seating for the concert and a special viewing area for the fireworks. Visit www.starspangledsimi.com for more information and tickets. \nLimited onsite parking for $25. Parking and shuttle service will run from the  Simi Valley Metrolink Station (5050 E. Los Angeles Ave.) and Simi Valley High School (5400 Cochran St.). \nThis free event is made possible with the support of the Rancho Simi Recreation and Parks District\, the City of Simi Valley\, and many corporate and private sponsors. Proceeds from this event support various charitable foundations and community organizations. Donation boxes will be available throughout the park. \n\nDonate to the Great American Food Drive\nWe will be collecting non-perishable food items at the event for friends and neighbors in Simi Valley that need a little extra help.  Look for the red and blue donation bins in front of the Rec Center and at the Information Booth inside the Jam Area. \nThe event address is 5005 E.
