DESCRIPTION:As part of the YES Summer Workshop Series\, the YES and Public Library will host four workshops for young adult job seekers.  On July 11\, 2024\, the Building a Resume and/or Brag Sheet for Jobs\, College and Scholarship Applications Workshop will focus on resume writing basics\, what is a brag sheet and how it differs from a resume\, what students can do now to build an impressive resume and/or brag sheet\, and much more.  Workshop participants will also receive personalized resume writing assistance in a small group setting with help from volunteers from the local business community. \nReserving a seat is recommended as seating is limited. The YES also refers applicants to available jobs year round through its Job Posting Service offered to Simi Valley Employers.
